Chimney and Flue Cleaning – including power sweeping

Whether you have an open fire, Inglenook or multi fuel/wood burner, using traditional rods and brushes alongside an industrial hoover I will ensure that your chimney and appliance are working as efficiently as possible for the coming year of heating your home.

I also utilise the latest rotary power sweeping kit – “SnapLok”.

By choice this is the system I will use to clean your chimney or flue to the highest standard possible – however you may prefer the traditional method, either is fine and the pros and cons can be explained if required.

CCTV Chimney Inspection

CCTV Inspection Service

Should a CCTV examination be required I use a 12Volt 7” fixed monitor set with a 1200 TVL camera, with 14metres of cable giving full cover reproduction in daylight and black and white coverage in darkness with its 24LEDS. The camera has a fully tilting head for all round viewing.

Chimney Birds Nest Removal

Blockages and Birds Nest Removal

Whether a bird’s nest or other unforeseen occurrence has created a problem with the enjoyment of your fire or stove I will endeavour to clear the blockage. By using the CCTV equipment as described above and a combination of the Snaplok and specific manual tools I will clear the blockage and ensure your fire is working correctly by performing a smoke draw test prior to issuing your certificate.
